During the making of
Erasing Blue I also began this piece, The intention of this work was to explore a larger scale emerging shape drawing and to explore how far I could work into the drawing before the tension between the emerging shape transitioning between becoming and being. Though I enjoyed the process of this drawing I find that I am much more interested in the the pathway the erasing blue drawing is taking me. With the use of just pen there is something rather dull about this drawing, it seems too defined and at any point in the continuation of the drawing it will always be too clear what is happening. Though there is much more freedom to the marks it is far to embedded in the methods of my practice to consider following it any further.
